South Shropshire Excellent opportunity in an innovative business working in the renewable energy field for a CAD Designer to draw and design technical equipment: you will be reporting to an experienced Engineer with a long and successful track record of pioneering new products and processes. With a track record of using 2D and 3D CAD to produce mechanical equipment and architectural drawings, you will have a portfolio to show at interview. An understanding of electrical wiring would be advantageous together with mechanical engineering theory but it is also very important you are a practical, hands on person who can get involved at all stages of the work. You will be a good communicator as well as being self-motivated and able to manage your own workload. An ability to self-check work is essential as are good all-round IT skills. Experience of working in the renewable energy field would be useful but not essential. The salary is negotiable according to skills and experience. As the role may involve travel in a rural area, you require a current driving licence. This company offers excellent working conditions and the scope to grow with the business.
