Commercial Administrator - Maternity Contract £16,000  - £17,000

Although purchasing is the main role of the position, there are a range of other admin duties including:
Obtaining quotes from sub-contractors & suppliers & ensuring deadlines are met
Placing purchase orders, ISO9001, monitoring & updating supplier performance including negotiation when required.
Data input using Excel
Welcoming visitors, booking meeting rooms, handling telephone enquiries at main switchboard
Dealing with all incoming & outgoing post
Assisting Office Manager & Quality Engineer when necessary
Monitoring office supplies & stationery.

You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills being confident and enthusiastic. You will also demonstrate flexibility, initiative, discretion and strong organisational skills.

IT skills: must be familiar with Word and Excel. Previous office administration experience essential, preferably within purchasing and customer service environments.

To cover minimum of 6 months maternity leave starting mid July until mid November with the possibility of an extended contract. The salary shown is pro rata and dependant on experience.
