This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on creating a Centre of Excellence within a global business. This team will manage a drive through continuous improvement and cross departmental collaboration to achieve strategic business goals. The role will have divisional impact, and will involve a variety of responsibilities primarily focusing on Logistics. A personal development programme is in place with the goal to become a Business Process Champion.
You will work alongside a Business Process Champion reporting to the Divisional Team Lead taking on a diverse range of projects. You will be expected to document, train on, and take ownership of existing and new business processes. Your focus will be driving through best practice processes and acting as a communication channel fostering departmental collaboration. You will also assist in aligning business processes in acquisitions prior to IT implementation.
You will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving and organisational skills. Ideally educated to degree level you will be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a demanding environment as part of a team. The role will be based in Pembridge, but will require frequent travel to remote sites worldwide.

Purpose of the function

A junior BPC will, in collaboration with the BPC team, support continuous improvement and cross departmental collaboration to achieve strategic business goals. This permanent role will have Divisional impact, and will involve a variety of responsibilities in multi-functional areas, with enormous opportunity for personal growth and flexibility within the Division. Training will be provided as part of this challenging role to further career development.
This job role can be based at any site, but will require travel to our remote sites world-wide. Travel will be an integral part of this function, where the frequency of travel will be dependent on the project in question.

Core tasks

Evolving the Centre of Excellence
Drive through and recommend Continuous Improvement
Collection of Master Data that is applicable to their own functional area
Train new/existing users on new processes and systems
Determine the business requirements of new/existing businesses in relation to changes to the processes and/or systems

Responsibilities

Documentation of existing and new business processes in conjunction senior BPCs
Ensure users are suitably trained in existing or new processes/systems
Providing advice and assistance on business processes/best practise to users
Working with, and understanding of cross-functional areas to agree process change.
Perform testing and sign off any new software change that is applicable in their functional areas
Assist on any Development projects or areas of System change, or Process change across the Division

Function Demands

Finished Bachelor or Master Degree
Strong Analytical skills
Understanding of Change Management and/or Business Analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels of the business
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative where required
Good organisational and time management skills
