Maintenance Technician

Responsible for maintaining existing production machinery and site equipment to ensure minimum down time and production efficiency.

Duties and responsibilities

Ensuring all Health & Safety is adhered to as per company policies and procedures
Working with the Engineering Team to provide a complete maintenance service to the site
First Line immediate response to site and equipment breakdowns
Accurate diagnosis of faults and reasons for failures
Accurately dismantling and reassembling roll forming machinery and peripheral equipment in a production environment
Reviewing method statements and risk assessments
Support the engineering team in the production of professional engineering maintenance documentation
Provide accurate information assisting the generation of technical purchase orders.
Fabrication of simple stands guarding and tables etc.
Mig and arc Welding support maybe required on occasions
Providing support to the Production Team during peak times.
Coaching and developing other members of the team.
Attend weekly engineering meeting

Terms of Employment
Hours: Rotating shifts

Shift 1 - Monday : Thursday 13:45-23:45

Shift 2 : Monday : Friday 6-2

Pay: paid monthly via BACS

Holiday: Our holiday calendar runs run from January to December and we offer 21 days plus national bank holidays. If you start work part way through the company’s leave year, the initial holiday entitlement is based on the period from that date until the leave year ends.

Health care scheme: We provide a primary health care scheme for all those employed for more than 12 months.
