Who will use my data?

What for?

Working Solutions (Mercia) Limited receive your personal data when you apply directly for an advertised role via our website; when you apply directly to be a candidate for whom we can facilitate a job search or via a third party when you respond to a job post placed by Working Solutions (Mercia) Limited on a job board on behalf of a third party client.  We will store and process your data as a registered candidate in order to allow us to maintain your account, send system updates, send offer details and provide customer support to you.

What will happen?

We will use your information to send you systems information and updates, offers and other updates that we think you will be interested in.

What data will be stored?

When you register with Working Solutions (Mercia) Limited you MUST agree to us collecting and storing your personal information as described in this privacy policy. You will not be able to submit your enquiry or details to Working Solutions (Mercia) Limited without agreeing to us storing your personal data. This may include but is not restricted to your name; contact details; address; employment history; mobility and education. During telephone conversations and face to face interviews we may collect personal information with regard to employment preferences, strengths and work experience which may be stored on your personal record. We will store your registration details, usage information, transactions details, and any preference information we collect as part of you registering with us and/or visiting our website.

What data will be shared?

The data you share facilitates our ability to support your job search and to provide a basis for recommendation when short-listing candidates for a particular role. We may on occasion contact candidates stored in our database who are not actively looking for a new role. When you apply for a Job using our website you will be asked to tick a box indicating that you consent to us storing the personal data you have provided and sharing it with companies to whom you have given your permission.  We will only do this where you, the potential candidate, meet a detailed brief provided by one of our clients, and where you have provided explicit consent to us storing and sharing your data.  We will also share your information with any regulator or legal body that requests it including where relevant HMRC, pensions provider and payroll provider.

How long?

Your data will be stored for up to 2 years after you have registered with us after which time your account will be deleted.  You can request account deletion at any time.

Who can access my data?

We will never sell, share or otherwise distribute your data to any other third party.

How is my data kept secure?

We will store your data on secure EU based servers which will be processed in the EU.  We use industry standard security protocols/technology to secure data.

Working Solutions is an Employment Agency and Employment Business.  This policy relates to users of Working Solutions’ recruitment services.  Processing of your data is required in order to offer you these services.  This policy applies to individuals who have registered with Working Solutions as either a customer, user, administrator or in any other capacity.

Curriculum vitae ("CV")


We give you the option of submitting your CV via our website or by providing your CV to one of our consultants. You can do this either to apply for a specific advertised job or for consideration by our recruitment consultants for positions as they come up. Your CV will be stored in the Working Solutions (Mercia) Limited database, and will be accessible by Working Solutions (Mercia) Limited recruitment consultants.  You can update your CV at any time by emailing it to us.

How we store and process your data


Your data will be collected stored and processed in the UK and EU only, we do not transfer your data outside the EU.  Your data will be stored for up to 7 years to ensure we have records of service, payments, and other interactions we have with you.

 

In order to provide or services to you we use recognised third parties to take payment, conduct credit reports and other checks, manage our company accounts and provide banking services.  We will store transactions, payment and order data for up to 7 years or for as long as required by UK financial and company regulations.  These third parties may operate outside the EU, if this is the case we will ensure precautions are in place to protect your data.
